"Milk, vector of development", International Symposium

From the 10th to the 12th May 2017, at Rabat, Morocco, the second edition of the International Symposium about "Milk, vector of development" is held. Co-organized by the IAV Hassan II (Morocco), INRA and CIRAD (France), the symposium will be structured around four sessions:

  • Dynamics of dairy development: Local and/or international operators
  • Water constraints and milk production: Concepts and future challenges
  • Social and nutritional aspects of milk and dairy products
  • Perspectives on dairy development in Morocco

The objective of the symposium is to further the exchange of experience around diversity of development models concerning milk development observed worldwide, to bring together all the actions and involved networks, to measure the importance of women and young people in such dynamics and for a better understanding of public policies to accompany its emergence.

Target audience: Research institutes and technical institutes; agricultural higher education institutions, veterinary associations and NGOs/foundations; political leaders in the field of development; private companies; microcredit organisations, etc.
